Social Media For Evangelisation: Structural and Attitudinal Changes in the Minds of Priests and the Church

To spread the good news of hope, the Church has historically pioneered and championed the art, architecture, music, sculpture, literature, theatre and print. With the disruptive innovation of Electronic media and it's recent advancement of Social Media, the Church began to straggle and eventually trail behind. The advent of Pandemic kindled a structural change in the Church that paved way to the right usage of Social Media for evangelisation. Every Priest is becoming aware of the importance of embracing this new lifestyle which demands basic knowledge of the tools of Social Media. This attitudinal shift in the minds of the priests, understanding the significance of content, clarity and creativity opens the possibility to collaborate with the laity who are experts in the usage of Social Media.
